Tryptofan (2013)

This multi-user toy allows three players to jam together creating patterns of light on the ceiling.

At the heart of the project is a standard three blade ceiling fan that has strips of RGB LEDs mounted to the blades. Each blade is controlled by it's own wireless remote based on switches, knobs, and arcade buttons.

Viewers get to play with the remotes and learn what each of the inputs do to create a wild variety of beautiful patterns.
